Got through a whole outbreak without my kids noticing, weirdly proud

My youngest asks about everything on my face so I usually spend a week deflecting questions about my lip. This time I caught it early, kept my hands off it, and it stayed so small nobody said a word. Feels silly to celebrate something this minor but after years of feeling like it announced itself to the whole house, quiet felt like a win. Anyone else have these tiny private victories that nobody around you would even understand?

This is exactly the kind of thing the community is for. Small consistent habits beat any single fix, in my experience.

That is such a quiet little victory, I totally get the pride. I remember the first time I managed that and honestly felt like I'd pulled off a magic trick, so good for you.

Stress is my number one trigger too, nothing else comes close.

Congrats on the good run, that is a real achievement.

Honestly that is a win, I remember the first time I managed that and felt like I had pulled off a heist. Took me years of fumbling to get there so be proud of yourself.

Honestly that counts as a win in my book, the quiet ones are the best kind. I still get a little thrill when I make it through and nobody at home asks what's on my lip.
