Cracked lips seem to be my early warning

I have noticed that when my lips get dry and cracked, a flare often follows. Keeping them protected seems to help. Does anyone else see this link?

Same here, mine follow the seasons almost exactly.

Thanks for posting. The thing I wish I had learned sooner is to respect the early tingle window and to protect proactively rather than wait. Keep the lips shielded on high UV and cold days, protect your sleep, and be kind to yourself. This is a support space and for a clinical read you can use the Clinic.

For me the tingle gives me a few hours of warning at most.

Same here honestly, that tight dry feeling at the corners usually shows up a day or two before anything else, and I've learned to take it seriously instead of brushing it off. Glad it's not just me noticing that pattern.

Congrats on the good run, that is a real achievement.

I keep a balm in every pocket now, it really does help.

Same here honestly, that tight cracked feeling at the corners is usually my two day warning before anything shows up. I've started treating it as my cue to slow down, drink more water, and get serious about keeping my lips covered, and it's helped me catch things earlier.
