Anyone else get one right when the weather flips from cold to warm in spring?

Every year around late March I get a cold sore within a week of the first properly sunny days, and I cannot tell if it is the sun, the wind, or just my body being confused by the change. I have started to dread that first nice weekend because I know what is coming. Does anyone else notice a pattern with seasonal transitions, and if so what do you do in the lead up to it?

Really glad you shared this. What has helped me most is treating it as a prevention question rather than a treatment one. Track your own triggers for a few weeks, get ahead of the risky days, and protect the lip barrier before the sun, wind, or a bad night of sleep can set things off.
