Anyone else get the tingle and then nothing happens? Trying to figure out what I'm doing right

Lately I have had that familiar prickly tingle on my lip maybe four or five times and then it just fades without ever turning into a blister. I have not changed much, maybe sleeping a bit more and drinking less coffee, but I honestly cannot tell if that is why or if I am just getting lucky. Does the tingle without the outbreak happen to other people, and did you ever figure out what made the difference? I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Founder here. What worked for me was consistency over intensity: same simple protection every single morning, not only when the sun is out. Wind, cold, and short sleep stack up quietly, so getting ahead of them beats chasing an outbreak once it starts. Rooting for you.

Yes, this happens to me a lot now and honestly I think it means whatever you're doing at the first tingle is catching it early enough to stop it. I started jumping on mine the second I feel anything, plus actually sleeping and drinking water, and most of the time it just fizzles out now.

Yes, this happens to me too! I've noticed when I catch that tingle early and immediately slow down, get extra sleep, and stay out of the sun for a couple days, it often just fizzles out before anything shows up.

Yes, this happens to me a few times a year and I've started thinking of it as my body catching it early, usually when I've been sleeping well and staying on top of stress. I honestly used to panic at every tingle but now I just take it as a nudge to slow down for a couple days, and more often than not nothing shows up.

Yes this happens to me a lot now and I honestly think the main thing was just learning to take the tingle seriously right away instead of waiting to see if it turns into anything, plus keeping my lips covered whenever I'm out in the wind or sun. Not sure if it's luck or the habit but I'll take it either way.

Yes, this happens to me too and I honestly think it's partly luck and partly catching it early, like the second I feel that little buzz I stop touching my lip and get something on it right away. Not every time works but the near misses feel like small wins so I'll take them.

Yes, this happens to me more often now than it used to, and honestly I think the only thing I changed was reacting to the tingle right away instead of waiting to see if it was real. Could be luck too, but I'll take it.

Same here honestly, I get the tingle maybe once a month now and most of the time it just fizzles out, and I think the only thing I changed was being way more religious about protecting my lips before I go outside instead of after. Could be luck too, but I'll take it.
