Started keeping a trigger diary and the pattern surprised me
After my third one this year I finally started writing down what happened in the days before each outbreak, not just sun or stress but sleep, what I ate, whether I had a cold. Turns out mine seem to line up with the week after I get over any kind of sniffle, which I never would have guessed. Has anyone else tracked theirs and found a trigger that was not one of the usual suspects?
This is exactly the kind of thing the community is for. Small consistent habits beat any single fix, in my experience.
Oh I love this, I did the same thing last winter and was shocked that it was never the stress days I expected but almost always the day after a long windy walk when I forgot to cover my face. Funny how the body keeps its own notes even when we don't.
Keeping a diary was the thing that finally made it click for me too, I had blamed stress for years and it turned out the worst ones always came after a sunny weekend outside. Funny how obvious it looks once it's written down.
