Can you get a cold sore from sunburn on your lips?

Got lip sunburn on holiday and a cold sore followed a couple of days later. Is that a real link? Seems like UV on the lips is a big cold sore trigger. Anyone else get one after lip sunburn?

Yes, lip sunburn is one of the most reliable triggers for me.
