Have an event coming and a cold sore starting, the worst timing. Beyond covering it, what actually helps at the tingle stage so it stays small? And how do you handle the confidence side of it?

Thanks for posting. The thing I wish I had learned sooner is to respect the early tingle window and to protect proactively rather than wait.
