Lip balm recommendations for windy climates?

I live somewhere cold and windy and my lips are always cracked, which seems to be when I get flares. What works for you in harsh weather?

Thanks for posting. The thing I wish I had learned sooner is to respect the early tingle window and to protect proactively rather than wait. Keep the lips shielded on high UV and cold days, protect your sleep, and be kind to yourself. This is a support space and for a clinical read you can use the Clinic.

Honestly the wind is what gets me every time, I've learned to reapply way more often than feels necessary and to look for something thicker that actually stays put instead of the glossy stuff that vanishes in five minutes. Also a buff or scarf pulled up over my mouth on really gusty days has saved me more than once.

Same here, mine follow the seasons almost exactly.

Wind is honestly my worst trigger too, so you're not alone there. What finally helped me was keeping a thick balm in my jacket pocket and reapplying way more often than feels necessary, like every hour when it's really gusty.
