Do you tell someone new you're dating that you get cold sores?

Started seeing someone a few weeks ago and I haven't had an outbreak since spring, but I keep wondering if I should say something before things get more serious. Part of me feels like it's not a big deal since most people carry the virus anyway, but the other part feels weirdly guilty staying quiet. How did you all bring it up, or did you just wait until one showed up and explain then?

I do now, usually after a few dates when it feels like things are going somewhere, and honestly every time I've been nervous about it the other person has been way more chill than I expected. The right people really don't care, and telling them early took so much weight off my shoulders.

Honestly I do, usually somewhere before things get physical, just a quick "hey, I get cold sores sometimes" and I've found most people shrug and say they've had them too, which was such a relief the first time it happened.
