Woke up at 3am with that tingle, do you get up and deal with it or wait till morning?

Last night I woke up around 3am with that unmistakable tingling on my bottom lip and just lay there debating whether to get up. Half asleep me decided to ignore it and of course by breakfast there was a proper blister forming. Now I am wondering if those few hours actually made a difference or if it was coming either way. Does anyone else drag themselves out of bed the second they feel it, or am I overthinking this?

Great question, and you are not alone with this. Catching the trigger early is where most of the difference comes from.

The mental side is real, glad someone said it.

Catching the tingle early is everything for me.

Winter is worse for me too, the cold cracks my lips first.
