Welcome. The two things worth knowing early: it is very common, and it is far more preventable than most people realise.
Every single time, honestly. I think my body just gets so run down fighting the bug that it can't keep everything else in check, so now I try to be extra gentle with myself and drink a ton of water the week after I get sick, and it seems to help a little.
Yes, every single time, like clockwork about four or five days after the fever breaks my lip starts tingling and I just sigh because I know what's coming. I've started treating the tail end of a cold as the warning sign now instead of waiting for the actual sore to show up.
Congrats on the good run, that is a real achievement.
