Great question, and you are not alone with this. Catching the trigger early is where most of the difference comes from.
Yes, every single time I do anything over about six hours, I think it's the dry cabin air plus barely sleeping that gets me. I've started drinking way more water on the plane and keeping my lips covered the whole flight and it seems to help a bit, though honestly I still get caught out sometimes.
Yes, every single time I fly more than about six hours I can feel that tingle starting before we even land, and I used to think it was just bad luck until I realised the dry cabin air plus zero sleep is basically the perfect storm for me.
Yes, every time. I think it's the dry cabin air plus the exhaustion, I land feeling that little tingle and just know what's coming, so now I drink way more water than I want to and try to sleep on the plane even if it's a bad sleep.
Yes, every single time I fly more than about six hours I can feel the tingle starting before we even land, I think the dry cabin air and zero sleep just wreck my lips. Now I basically slather on balm the whole flight and drink way more water than I want to, and it helps most of the time, not always though.
Same here, mine follow the seasons almost exactly.
