Does anyone else get one right after a long day of yard work or gardening?

I spent most of Saturday outside pulling weeds and by Sunday night I had that familiar spot on my bottom lip. I was not stressed at all, I actually felt great, so I am wondering if it was just the hours of sun and wind and not drinking enough water. Has anyone figured out a routine for outdoor chore days, or do you just accept it as part of the deal?

Thanks for posting. The thing I wish I had learned sooner is to respect the early tingle window and to protect proactively rather than wait. Keep the lips shielded on high UV and cold days, protect your sleep, and be kind to yourself. This is a support space and for a clinical read you can use the Clinic.

Yes, every spring the first big weekend of pulling weeds and turning beds seems to end with that familiar tingle by Sunday night, and I used to blame the dirt until I realized it was probably just hours of sun and wind on my face that I never think to protect out there.
