Cold weather makes mine worse, not the sun

Everyone talks about summer but for me it is winter. Dry air, cold wind, my lips crack and then here they come. Anyone else worse in the colder months?

Winter is worse for me too, the cold cracks my lips first.

About three a year for me, down from way more. Prevention works.

For me the tingle gives me a few hours of warning at most.

Thanks for posting. The thing I wish I had learned sooner is to respect the early tingle window and to protect proactively rather than wait. Keep the lips shielded on high UV and cold days, protect your sleep, and be kind to yourself. This is a support space and for a clinical read you can use the Clinic.
