Cold sore stages, how long does each one last?

Can someone walk through the cold sore stages? I get the tingle, then a blister, then it crusts and heals. Roughly how long does each stage last for you, and which stage is a cold sore most contagious?

Tingle a day, blister a few days, then crusting and healing, about 8 to 10 days total for me.

Most contagious at the blister and weeping stage from what I understand.

Mine is faster if I catch the tingle early, slower if I miss it.
