I went through the exact same worry with my son. I skipped kissing him whenever I felt anything on my lip, washed my hands constantly, and asked his pediatrician all my questions at the checkup, and that reassurance helped my anxiety more than anything.
Totally normal to feel this way, mama. When I notice a tingle I keep my lips covered, avoid touching my face, and never share cups or towels, and honestly the doctor is the best person to walk you through the newborn stuff.
For me the biggest thing was staying ahead of triggers, so I focus on sleep, stress, and keeping my lips from getting chapped with a balm that has spf. Some members here also talk about adding lysine rich foods to their routine, but definitely run any questions about your baby past your provider.
